SAMEDAN
Samedan is located in the heart of one of the most important tourist regions of Switzerland. All the tourist offers in the surroundings are quickly reachable, e.g. St. Moritz, the mountain paradise and the Upper Engadine lakes or the National Park. The position on the "roof of Europe" gives the Engadine Alta about 322 sunny days a year, a very pleasant climate and a high guarantee of snow in the winter. A particular attraction of Samedan are its typical Engadin houses. The Chesa Planta, richly decorated with wall designs, holds an elegant museum on the patrician housing culture. The Rhaetian Railway has one of its main crossroads in Samedan: in the town cross the lines that lead to nearby St. Moritz, Chur, in the Lower Engadine and - with a particularly spectacular route - to Poschiavo crossing the Bernina Pass..
Summer
With its 580 km of hiking trails, the Engadine Alta offers a particularly wide range of hiking options. Around the town of Samedan there is an educational nature trail comprising over 30 stations. Samedan is also one of the stages of the Via Engadina, one of the ten-day crest routes that cross the entire Engadine. Samedan is also the ideal place to practice almost all the most popular amateur sports: it is in fact a paradise for mountain bikers, an excellent base for mountaineers and Nordic walking lovers, as well as for skaters thanks to a skating rink that develops around the aerodrome and Innline Engiadina, an inline skating rink that winds along the Inn.
Winter
The nearby ski areas of St. Moritz, Celerina and Pontresina attract winter sports enthusiasts; the Muottas Muragl is less demanding with 3 lifts and 8 km of slopes. Particularly appreciated for the medium difficulty slopes and the magnificent view is the nearby Diavolezza (2973 m). The other ski areas of the Engadine are also easily accessible by car, ski bus or train, offering over 50 ski lifts and 350 km of slopes.

The apartment is located on the second floor of a building located in the main street of the historic center of Samedan. It consists of a kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, living / dining room and 1 bathroom. At guests' disposal there is a parking space (max height 165 cm) and a room for ski and bicycle storage. The bus stop is located about 100 m. from the house and the train station 500 m.
